From grown up to usable

What a typical cedar job looks like, before and after. A mulching head grinds brush and small trees where they stand, and the chips stay on the ground, so there's nothing to burn and nothing to haul off.

Before: cedar, mesquite and briars grown in so thick you can't walk it.

What we do

A father and son out of Weatherford

Stephen Lightfoot and his son. Family owned, fully insured, based in Parker County. We bought the forestry mulcher on purpose, because overgrown land you can't use is the work we want.

How it works

  1. 1

    Tell us about the land

Four quick questions at the top of this page. About a minute.

  2. 2

    Stephen walks it with you

He checks the ground, the trees you want kept and the way in, then gives you one price.

  3. 3

    We clear it

One machine, one crew. The mulch stays down as cover.

Common questions

How do you price a job?

Answer the questions at the top of this page and you see a ballpark in about a minute. Then Stephen walks the property and gives you one price before any work starts.

Do you take small jobs?

Our jobs start at $2,000, because that's what it costs to bring the machine out. For anything smaller, a handyman or a rental will likely save you money.

What is forestry mulching?

A mulching head on a skid steer grinds brush, cedar and small trees where they stand. The chips stay on the ground and hold the soil, so there are no burn piles and nothing to haul.

Can I keep some of the trees?

Yes. Show Stephen which ones stay when he walks the property, and we clear around them.

Do you work in my area?

We're based in Weatherford and work about 50 miles around Parker County. If you're not sure, put your address in the form and we'll tell you when we call.

Are you insured?

Yes, fully insured.

Ready to use your land again?

Answer four questions, see your ballpark, and we'll set up a time for Stephen to walk it.
